I am a descendant of James Francis Conand. Does anyone have any information as to when he was in the Georgia area? He shows up in Virginia as a surgeon for Col.Clark’s regiment during the Revolutionary War. He also appears in New Orleans before 1800. This man traveled a great deal. I am trying to find out how he entered America. Did he come to Georgia as a gate for all of his future travels or did he end up retiring in Georgia? Thanks for whatever help you may be able to give me. Pat Lassalle Pilgrim

Searching for information on 1835 murders involving Thomas King III from Nassau County, Florida. He was supposedly captured and convicted, his sons Hiram and John escapped into Mississippi Territory and lived the rmaining years of their lives there.

How and where would someone document facts to support the stories.

Supposedly Thomas King was unhappy about his daughter Adeline marrying William Casey?

Appreciate any documents re this event that occurred in Camden County, GA

I noticed a marker for Absalom Jackson at the cemetery on Point Peter. Does anyone know who had it placed? It is very nice and I would like to thank them.
